Sunny Stretch Arrives
A cold front is moving out of the region Thursday, and the National Weather Service office in Wilmington says high pressure will settle in for Friday and Saturday. Friday should be sunny and near 85 degrees, while Saturday reaches about 87 with dry conditions and light winds. Overnight lows will fall to around 65 Thursday night and 63 Friday night.
The week stays quiet through the weekend, but the temperature dial turns sharply upward Sunday. Cincinnati is forecast to reach 92 degrees Sunday, 94 Monday and 95 Tuesday, with mostly sunny skies and only minimal rain chances through Monday.
Heat Builds Early Next Week
The hotter outlook marks a substantial shift from the cooler reset highlighted in an earlier Hoodline forecast. A slight chance of showers returns Tuesday night, followed by a small chance of showers and thunderstorms Wednesday, but the forecast still calls for temperatures near 94 degrees.
There are no watches, warnings or advisories listed for the Cincinnati area Thursday. For outdoor plans, Thursday through Saturday look like the easiest days to be outside, while anyone heading out Sunday through Wednesday should plan around the hottest afternoon hours, drink plenty of water and keep an eye on updated forecasts.
