A driver's-side window was smashed on Cincinnati's Walnut Street last Friday, and police say two people may have worked together in the property-damage case. One person allegedly did the breaking while another stood nearby as a lookout.
Cincinnati Police Department District 1 said Tuesday in a public post on X that it is investigating the criminal damaging offense. The incident happened July 31 at 1626 Walnut Street, where police say the front suspect wore a black sparkly jacket.
Police Ask For Help Identifying The Pair
The department is asking anyone who recognizes either person to contact Detective Taulbee at 513-352-1463. The public notice does not identify the suspects or say whether any arrests have been made.
For anonymous tips, the Cincinnati Police Department's contact page lists Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040. The investigation remains open as detectives work to determine who was involved.
A Familiar Kind Of Public Appeal
Cincinnati police have used similar public appeals in other vehicle-damage cases. In a separate investigation, Hoodline reported that police sought help after a suspect damaged a vehicle's front driver's-side window on Vine Street in November 2024.
