A slight chance of drizzle lingers until about 11 a.m., followed by partly sunny skies. Temperatures may reach near 70 degrees around midday before slipping toward the mid-60s later in the afternoon, while southwest winds rise from 6 to 14 mph and gusts could reach 21 mph.
Shoreline Flooding Possible Wednesday Night
A Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect for bayshore areas along San Francisco Bay, San Pablo Bay and Monterey Bay until 2 a.m. tomorrow, according to the National Weather Service in San Francisco. Up to 1.4 feet of water could reach low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways, with flooding possible in lots, parks and roads and isolated closures.
The San Francisco tidal gauge is forecast to peak at 7.24 feet around 11:49 p.m. today, roughly 1.4 feet above normal. Drivers should allow extra time near the shoreline, avoid barricades and never drive through water of unknown depth.
Cooler Through Friday, Then A Slow Rebound
Tomorrow and Friday look mostly cloudy, with highs near 66 degrees and overnight lows around 58. Saturday brings partly sunny skies and a high near 67, but Sunday cools back to about 63 before temperatures settle in the mid-60s early next week.
