Storm Chances Build Wednesday Night
The quiet weather does not last all week. A 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms arrives Wednesday afternoon, mainly between 2 and 5 p.m., before storm chances rise overnight to 60%, some spots could pick up a quarter to half-inch of rain.
Thursday remains unsettled, with showers likely early and additional chances for thunderstorms through the afternoon. Temperatures should still top out near 81 degrees, but wet roads and shifting storm timing could complicate outdoor plans and the commute.
Friday Looks Like The Best Outdoor Bet
Friday brings mostly sunny skies and a high near 82 degrees, followed by a mostly clear night around 63. Saturday starts mostly sunny and warms to about 83 degrees, but showers and thunderstorms could return after 2 p.m.
Sunday looks like the week’s cleanest finish, with sunshine and a high near 80 degrees, while Monday stays sunny near 81. No watches, warnings or advisories are posted for Ohio, Kentucky or Indiana in the Wilmington forecast area, according to the National Weather Service.
