A woman was shot in Chicago’s Lawndale neighborhood during an attempted carjacking, adding another burst of gun violence to a West Side area that has seen similar vehicle-robbery attacks this summer.
CBS News Chicago reported Saturday that the woman was shot during the attempted carjacking. The report did not identify the woman, provide details about her condition, or announce whether anyone had been arrested.
