Heat Sticks Around Even When Clouds Roll In
Monday looks mostly sunny with another high near 90 and a heat index as high as 105. Tuesday stays hot with a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms, while Wednesday brings a better chance of wet weather at 60% with a high near 89.
Smoke Could Affect Inland Areas
Smoke from wildfires may lower visibility and worsen air quality across parts of the Everglades and western suburbs. Variable winds could send smoke in several directions, while nighttime conditions may trap it close to the ground and create hazier air.
Residents who are sensitive to smoke should reduce strenuous outdoor activity if haze develops and check local air-quality conditions before heading out. Thursday through Saturday should remain hot, with highs near 91 and daily chances for showers and thunderstorms between 40% and 50%.
