Poppy is bringing her genre-scrambling live show back to Orlando next Saturday, August 15, when she headlines Hard Rock Live at Universal CityWalk at 7 p.m. The stop is part of her sprawling Constantly Nowhere Tour, and it comes with a warning label of sorts: there will be a mosh pit at this stop, according to Orlando Weekly's preview of the show.
The Orlando date follows Poppy's January 2026 release of her seventh studio album, Empty Hands, a 13-track record that leans heavily into metalcore and pop metal while still carving out room for synth-pop and dancefloor-oriented detours, as Orlando Weekly reports. The album was produced by former Bring Me the Horizon keyboardist Jordan Fish, marking his second consecutive production credit for Poppy following 2024's Negative Spaces, according to Apple Music.
From Viral Android to Grammy-Nominated Metal Act
Poppy's path to a Hard Rock Live marquee started far from a mosh pit. She first broke through in 2014 with surreal, satirical YouTube performance-art videos in which she played an uncanny android character, a persona that skewered celebrity culture years before she ever picked up a metal mic, per Wikipedia. Her third album, 2020's I Disagree, marked the pivot from pop to heavier sounds and helped push her further into the mainstream, according to the same account.

Hard Rock Live Orlando sits at 6050 Universal Blvd. inside Universal CityWalk, next to the world's largest Hard Rock Cafe, and holds roughly 3,000 guests across multi-level seating with a modern audio and lighting setup. Opening Acts and Album Promotion
French metalcore band LANDMVRKS and California post-hardcore act Thousand Below round out the bill as opening support for the North American leg, which launched July 7 in Washington, D.C., and wraps August 19 in Nashville. Ahead of the album's release, Poppy also ran an “Empty Hands Hotline” starting in January, letting fans call in daily for audio preview snippets of upcoming tracks as part of the record's viral rollout. The Orlando stop lands about a month before that touring cycle closes out, giving Central Florida fans one of the last chances to catch the run stateside.
