The National Weather Service’s Salt Lake City office expects dry conditions and light winds Saturday, with a mostly clear overnight low near 62. Sunday should reach 90 degrees, followed by highs around 92 Monday and Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
Heat Builds Through Next Week
Wednesday is forecast to reach 93, Thursday 95 and Friday 96 under mostly sunny skies. Rain chances remain minimal for the Salt Lake Valley through most of the week, although a slight chance of showers or thunderstorms returns Friday afternoon.
The forecast discussion also points to increasingly dry air across the region, with little prospect of meaningful rain outside isolated storms over higher terrain. That means outdoor plans should be easiest this weekend, while afternoon heat and dry conditions become more noticeable from Tuesday onward.
