Two people were killed and two others were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle crash involving three cars and a semi-truck in South Bay on Saturday. The collision happened along U.S. Highway 27 in western Palm Beach County, where emergency crews found a scene serious enough to trigger two trauma alerts.
The crash details were reported by WPBF 25 News. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue transported two people to an area hospital, while two others were pronounced dead at the scene.
Fuel Leak Added To Cleanup Response
The collision also caused a fuel leak, prompting Palm Beach County Fire Rescue's special operations team to respond for cleanup. The initial report did not identify the victims or explain what led to the crash.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is investigating the collision. WPBF said it had contacted the agency for additional information and was awaiting a response.
