A man was found bleeding in the street after gunfire erupted late Sunday in South Nashville, and police are now piecing together what happened from surveillance video and witness accounts. He is expected to survive, but investigators have not identified a shooter or established a motive.
Metro Nashville police responded to Parris Avenue around 11:30 p.m. Sunday and found the man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his lower extremities. He was taken to a hospital in serious condition, according to WSMV, which reported that he is expected to survive.

The victim was unable to provide police with a description of the person who shot him. Detectives are reviewing security footage from the area and searching for anyone who may have witnessed the shooting.
