Wynwood is about to get another place to spend too much money on something green, cold, and aggressively good for you. SunLife Organics, the Malibu-born smoothie and wellness brand, is expanding into the neighborhood with a second Miami-area café.
The new SunLife is planned for 101 NW 22nd Street, according to WhatNow Miami, which first reported the project Friday. WhatNow initially reported an August debut, but the company’s current locations page now lists the Wynwood café as opening in fall 2026. An exact opening day has not been posted.
SunLife’s Second Miami-Area Café
The Wynwood shop will follow SunLife Organics’ existing Miami Beach location on Alton Road. The company’s Florida expansion gives local fans a second place to pick up its wellness-focused menu, while putting the California-born brand closer to Wynwood’s steady stream of residents, office workers, shoppers, and nightlife crowds.
SunLife Organics was founded in Malibu in 2011 by Khalil Rafati and Hayley Gorcey, according to the company’s official story. Rafati’s recovery story and the company’s mission to “love, heal and inspire” are central to the brand’s identity, although Miami customers will probably be most interested in what ends up in the cup.
Expect Smoothies, Açaí Bowls, Juices And Coffee
SunLife’s menu centers on organic smoothies, cold-pressed juices, açaí bowls, coffee drinks, matcha, and nutrient-rich snacks, as detailed on the brand’s official website. Its signature Billion Dollar smoothie and Billion Dollar bowl are among the offerings that have helped make the chain recognizable beyond its original Malibu home, WhatNow Miami reported.
The arrival also fits Wynwood’s ongoing shift into an even busier dining destination. Earlier this year, the Wynwood Business Improvement District highlighted a wave of new restaurants and bars moving into the neighborhood, with concepts ranging from plant-based Mexican food to vinyl-driven pizza. SunLife lands on the daytime, health-conscious end of that spectrum, offering a decidedly different reason to wander into Wynwood hungry.
For now, the opening window is the clearest detail available: fall 2026, rather than a locked-in August launch. When the doors finally open, Miami Beach will no longer be the only place in the area where a smoothie can arrive with a name that sounds like it has a private equity firm behind it.
