Donald Trump Jr. has paid his ex-fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle $7.6 million to buy out her half of the sprawling waterfront mansion the two once shared in Jupiter's Admirals Cove community, giving him sole ownership of the estate five years after they purchased it together. The couple never married, and their four-year engagement ended in 2024, but the property they bought side by side stayed legally tangled until this summer's buyout finally separated their finances.
According to TMZ, Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle bought the mansion for $9.7 million in 2021, and he now has full control of the six-bedroom property. The Palm Beach Post reports the warranty deed transferring Guilfoyle's stake was executed earlier this month and recorded in Palm Beach County public records earlier this week, formally dissolving the pair's shared ownership.
The Ambassador's Paper Trail
Guilfoyle was sworn in as U.S. Ambassador to Greece last September, according to the U.S. Embassy in Athens. She listed a Delray Beach address on the property transfer document, which carried an official consular authentication stamp from the embassy tying her signature to her diplomatic posting overseas.
The two-story mansion itself spans 11,270 square feet on 1.18 waterfront acres in Admirals Cove, according to OK Magazine. Beyond its 11 bathrooms, the estate includes an elevator, a wine room, a chef's kitchen, a golf cart garage, a four-car garage, a pool and a private dock on the Intracoastal Waterway large enough to hold an 85-foot boat.
A Buyout Far Below Whisper-Listing Numbers
The $7.6 million buyout sits well below other estimates of the mansion's worth. Palm Beach County housing officials pegged the property's market value at $13.6 million in 2025, and real estate insiders told RadarOnline the estate had quietly been shopped through a "whisper listing" for as much as $30 million in early 2026. Not every outlet agrees on the exact buyout figure, either — the Palm Beach Post reported the payment at $7 million, a slightly lower number than the amount cited in the recorded deed.
West Palm Beach attorney Maura Ziska served as trustee for Guilfoyle's Admirals Cove transfer, and the same outlet reported she also handled a separate $15 million land trust purchase in West Palm Beach's Prospect Park neighborhood earlier this year. The buyer, an entity called 3110 Washington Road Trust, closed on the 0.74-acre waterfront lot in February 2026, and Trump Jr. reportedly plans to build an eight-bedroom home there for his new family, about a mile from Mar-a-Lago.
Newlyweds Before the Ink Dried
The buyout came a couple of months after Trump Jr. registered his marriage to Palm Beach socialite Bettina Anderson on May 21 in Palm Beach County, according to WFMD. The transaction also lands amid a booming stretch for the gated club community. The median sale price in Admirals Cove reached $9.4 million in mid-2026, a 35.7% jump year-over-year, according to United Country Active Life Properties. The 976-acre enclave has 5.5 miles of navigable waterways and a 500-dock marina, making it one of Palm Beach County's fastest-appreciating luxury club communities.
Beyond the Buyout: Careers and Family Ties
Before her relationship with Trump Jr., Guilfoyle built a career far from South Florida. She worked as a prosecutor in San Francisco and Los Angeles and served as First Lady of San Francisco from 2004 to 2006 during her marriage to current California Governor Gavin Newsom, according to Wikipedia.
The Admirals Cove estate sits about 20 miles north of Mar-a-Lago and roughly 30 minutes from where Trump Jr.'s ex-wife, Vanessa Trump, lives with their five children, according to The Real Deal. His brother, Eric Trump, bought a $3.2 million home in Jupiter's Trump National Golf Club community in 2021, and the brothers have also teamed up on a West Palm Beach drone venture, according to Hoodline's earlier reporting.
What happens to the Jupiter mansion next remains unclear. The buyout resolves the co-ownership arrangement that had kept either party from independently selling or redeveloping the property, but it leaves open whether Trump Jr. will hold onto the estate as an investment, list it on the open market, or keep it alongside the Prospect Park home he is planning to build.
