A 15-year-old boy was shot in the thigh and back late Tuesday on the 5300 block of Holland Drive in Cincinnati’s Winton Hills neighborhood. He was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center with injuries described as non-life-threatening, according to WLWT.
Police seek information
The suspected shooter left the area on foot. Police had not released a description, and officers used crime tape to restrict a large portion of the roadway during the investigation, WLWT reported.
Earlier fatal shooting on Holland Drive
A separate fatal shooting occurred on Holland Drive in October 2024. Five-year-old Artagist Stanford III was killed in a drive-by shooting while sleeping in his bed in the 5200 block of Holland Drive, according to Hoodline’s prior report.
Public-service infrastructure in Winton Hills
The Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority has two designated EnVision Centers in Cincinnati: Findlater Gardens and Winton Terrace. The centers focus on employment, education, health and leadership, according to the City of Cincinnati’s 2024 CAPER.
