Jhon Fredy Blanco Rodriguez, 22, pleaded guilty in federal court in St. Louis to one count of assaulting a federal agent, KTTN reported. Sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 16, 2026, KTTN reported.
KTTN reports that the charge followed an April 8 traffic stop and a struggle on Interstate 64. The outlet says an ICE deportation officer tried to restrain Blanco Rodriguez in an agency vehicle, where he kicked the officer; the vehicle rolled into a highway barrier before other officers subdued him.
