A construction worker was struck and killed by a vehicle while on the job on Interstate 275 early Friday, according to the Springdale Police Department. The crash happened a little before 4 a.m. near mile marker 42, and the worker was rushed to a hospital but did not survive.
The worker was taken to Bethesda North Hospital, where he died from his injuries, Springdale police told FOX19. He was working on I-275 at the time the vehicle struck him, according to the same report.
