The show is presented by QuadCon, according to KNSI, and this marks its fifth stop at Crossroads Center, a mall the traveling show has now visited about five times over four years. The event moves throughout the year, and this weekend's stop brings roughly 64 vendor spots stocked with comics, trading cards, posters, action figures, statues, anime and manga.
Shoppers can expect merchandise aimed at Star Wars, Star Trek and Marvel fans, along with buyers on hand for vinyl records, comics, magazines, video games and DVDs. The lineup also includes comic-book and Pokémon dealers who only appear at select QuadCon shows, plus vendors traveling in from six states, per the same KNSI report.
Pokémon's 30th Birthday Draws a Crowd of All Ages
Event coordinator John Wells said the show is designed to feel like the smaller collector shows fans grew up attending, with pop culture vendors as the central draw. Wells told KNSI that Pokémon has become mainstream and now attracts multiple generations of collectors, with buyers ranging in age from four years old into their 50s.
The timing lines up with Pokémon's 30th anniversary this year, and the show will include vendors selling Pokémon plush toys, video games and cards alongside the comics and action figures. It is a notable moment for the franchise nationally: trading-card sales have been running hot in 2026, with Pokémon cards sweeping the five biggest trading-card sales of one recent week for a combined near $6.7 million, according to sports.yahoo.com. That outlet also reported the broader card market was on pace to top 41,000 sales of $10,000 or more by year's end, based on early-2026 figures.
Costume Parade Offers Gift Cards Saturday Afternoon
Saturday's schedule includes a free costume parade, with signups starting around 1:30 p.m. in the courtyard near Target. Participants can win $50 or $100 gift cards redeemable with vendors at the show, and the previous St. Cloud costume contest drew about 25 entries.
Whether this weekend's crowd tops that mark remains to be seen, but between the vendor lineup, the parade and Pokémon's anniversary milestone, organizers appear to be betting on a strong turnout at Crossroads Center.
