Deputies responded to reports of gunfire near 300 Furman Hall Road, close to the Boulder Creek Apartments complex, where they found two adult male victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
According to WSPA 7News, one of the men died from his injuries while the other was hospitalized. As reported by Cedar News, deputies with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office arrived late Tuesday night after reports of gunshots in the area, locating the two victims near the apartment complex. Deputies also said a person of interest had been located, but no suspect description or motive has been released. It remains unknown whether the shooting is connected to other recent violence in the county.

The Furman Hall Road shooting came just hours after a separate shooting broke out following a fight at Lakeside Park on Piedmont Highway in Piedmont, where two people were shot and injured.
