A fight outside a McDonald’s in LaPlace turned violent Wednesday night, leaving one person shot and a suspect now in custody, according to authorities. The shooting happened shortly after 8:30 p.m. at the McDonald’s located at 1608 West Airline Highway.
The St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting, according to WDSU. The injured person was reported to be in stable condition following the shooting.
Suspect Taken Into Custody
