
Savannah Stair, 28, of Nashville, died after the Toyota 4Runner she was driving overturned on Great Circle Road late Friday night. She was taken to a hospital after the crash but did not survive.
The crash happened at about 11 p.m., according to WSMV, which cited the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. In a preliminary account, police said the 4Runner left the roadway at a curve, struck a curb and overturned.
Rushed to Vanderbilt, Later Died
MNPD said Stair was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center after the crash and later died there.
Police said the crash scene showed no indications of impairment by the driver. MNPD has not released additional details about what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway.
