Cowboy boots and Tejano flair are about to take over a North San Antonio events venue. Musas Runway International is staging its Western Edition Fashion Show on September 4 at Elsewhere Too, promising a runway lineup pulling models and designs from across Texas to celebrate the region's Western and Tejano fashion roots.
Maximiliano Musas, a representative of Musas Runway International, and fellow representative Jennifer Delgado spoke about the upcoming show, according to News 4 San Antonio. The show is billed as a celebration of San Antonio culture through Western and Tejano fashion, with tickets available through musasrunwayinternational.com. Those with questions can also reach the production company directly at (210) 336-2320 or follow along on social media at @musasrunwayinternational.
The Western Edition Fashion Show is the latest in a string of themed productions the company has rolled out across the city. Per the same account, Musas Runway International has previously presented unique fashion shows including a Riviera-themed event and a cruise experience, building a reputation locally for pairing high-concept themes with runway spectacle.
A Track Record of Themed Runway Events
That reputation has been built quickly. On July 31, Musas Runway International produced The Riviera Issue Fashion Show at The Monarch San Antonio, partnering with the Global Empowerment Mission and featuring French Riviera-inspired collections by designer Paola Estefanía, according to the Your Guardian Angel Foundation. That event combined luxury fashion with fundraising for humanitarian disaster relief efforts.
Weeks later, on August 15, the company hosted its Passport to Summer Fashion Show at Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort & Spa, featuring Texas country and Tejano music artist Laura Linda and a Mediterranean-inspired collection, as detailed in a Facebook post shared by Musas Runway International. The company's ambitions have also stretched into multi-day formats: in December 2025, it organized the four-day San Antonio International Fashion Week, with events at Saks Fifth Avenue at North Star Mall and Principle BMW San Antonio, featuring runway presentations, VIP ready-to-wear shopping, and global designer showcases, according to Musas Runway International.
Founder Maximiliano Musas is also taking the brand beyond Texas. In October, he is set to produce the Gala de Catrinas high-fashion show at Viñedo San Miguel in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, an event fusing Day of the Dead traditions with contemporary haute couture and featuring Mexican design house Sindashi Mx, per PromoTix.
Casting Call Brought Models to Elsewhere Too
Before the September show, Musas Runway International held an in-person model casting call on August 13 at Elsewhere Too, recruiting male and female models to showcase modern Western and Tejano styles, according to the company's own blog. The casting call underscored the local preparation and community involvement feeding into the upcoming runway night.
Inside the Venue Hosting the Show
Elsewhere Too itself has become something of a North Side attraction since it opened on October 4, 2025, at 4513 N. Loop 1604 W. The 6-acre outdoor hybrid venue features a 53-foot Ferris wheel, a 15-foot flower tunnel, and a Victorian-style greenhouse, according to Community Impact. It is the second Alamo City venue from owner Terrin Fuhrmann, following the success of Elsewhere Garden Bar & Kitchen on the River Walk.
Hoodline first covered plans for the venue back in October 2024, when it was still targeting a mid-2025 opening near Six Flags Fiesta Texas. The turnout at launch proved strong enough that the venue had to temporarily close for two days just to restock food and beverage supplies, the San Antonio Current reported at the time.
Fuhrmann's civic footprint extends well past the venue itself. He serves on the Board of Directors for Visit San Antonio and as an elected commissioner for Fiesta San Antonio, according to Fiesta San Antonio, alongside seats on several local educational and philanthropic boards.
Western Wear's Bigger Moment
The show's timing lines up with a broader surge in Western-inspired fashion. The global Western wear market was valued at $81.7 billion in 2025 and is projected to grow to $110.76 billion by 2034, with casual fashion adoption driving 62% of demand, according to Business Research Insights. Pop culture has played its part too: high-profile releases including Beyoncé's 2024 album Cowboy Carter and country music streaming helped generate more than 42 billion streams in 2025, a trend that has pushed cowboy boot market forecasts toward $519 million by 2034, per Dataintelo.
For San Antonio audiences, the Western Edition Fashion Show offers a homegrown spin on that national trend, filtering it through local Tejano identity rather than national runway trends alone. Tickets for the September 4 show remain available through musasrunwayinternational.com.
