Phoenix Police directed anyone with information about the missing juvenile to call 602-262-6151. The department's account notes that its social media pages are not monitored around the clock, and separately lists 911 for emergencies and 602-262-6151 for non-emergency matters, per the department's official X account.
Police Warn Against Reporting Tips Via Social Media
In its post, the department was explicit that comments and direct messages on social media are not an acceptable way to pass along information. “Social media comments and direct messages are not a valid way to report information to police,” the post states, urging anyone with knowledge of the juvenile's location to instead pick up the phone and call.
Phoenix Police maintains resources for families and the public dealing with missing persons cases, including a Missing and Unidentified Persons Unit page outlining how such cases are handled. The department also publishes general guidance on runaways through its Runaways Information page.
