Rain Fades as Sunshine Returns
Wednesday will be sunny with only a 5% chance of rain and light south winds around 5 mph. The National Weather Service in Phoenix said isolated showers could still linger in southern Gila County, but dry weather is returning across the Phoenix area.
Wednesday night should stay mostly clear, with temperatures falling to about 67 degrees before rising slightly overnight. Thursday then brings more sunshine and a high near 88, followed by a warmer Friday near 92.
Breezier Weekend Ahead
The weekend looks sunny but increasingly breezy, with highs around 93 Saturday and 95 Sunday. Easterly winds of 10 to 15 mph could produce gusts up to 25 mph from Sunday into Monday, especially during the morning and early afternoon.
Monday should remain sunny with a high near 95, while Tuesday edges up to about 96. That warming trend marks a sharp turn from the recent stormy stretch highlighted in an earlier Hoodline forecast, with rain chances staying near zero through early next week.
No Phoenix Advisories Wednesday
No watches or warnings are in effect for Phoenix. For outdoor plans, Wednesday’s cooler afternoon is the easiest window of the week before hotter temperatures and stronger breezes return this weekend.
