Monday will bring coastal temperatures ranging from the upper 50s to middle 60s, with cloudy skies and a chance of drizzle through the morning. Onshore winds may pick up during the day.
The National Weather Service says drizzle may continue through the morning, with stratus persisting through late morning. Stratus may retreat toward the coast, with the best chance for VFR in the afternoon. Gusts could reach 20 mph later Monday, making the day feel cooler around exposed streets, bridges and waterfront paths.

Monday night could see an early return of IFR-MVFR stratus.
People heading onto the coastal waters should use extra caution, as a Small Craft Advisory is in effect for parts of the waters near Point Reyes from Monday afternoon through Tuesday afternoon. The forecast calls for moderate to fresh northwest breezes, with seas building from moderate Monday to rough Tuesday and Wednesday in the coastal waters.
Warming Begins Tuesday
Warming begins Tuesday and continues through Wednesday and Thursday, with temperatures near the Bays in the middle 70s to middle 80s on Wednesday and Thursday and inland valleys reaching the middle 80s to middle 90s.
Temperatures should continue warming through Thursday, while temperatures return closer to seasonal averages into the weekend. Little to no rainfall is expected to reach the ground Monday, though elevated showers remain possible.
