Sunny Saturday Gives Way To A Cooler Sunday
Saturday afternoon is expected to remain dry, with light winds increasing to around 10 mph and no rain in the forecast. Stratus is expected to return Saturday evening and overnight.
Sunday brings a noticeable cooldown, with highs in the mid-70s to lower 80s. That is still comfortable for outdoor plans, but it will feel much less like late-summer heat than Saturday’s sunny stretch.

Why Fog Can Precede a Hot Afternoon
The South Bay has seen morning fog give way to afternoon sunshine. A Nov. 7, 2007 report from The Mercury News described a similar pattern in San Jose, with dense fog giving way to sunny conditions, although that older forecast called for highs only in the low to mid-70s.
Monday rebounds to around 81 degrees, with patchy early fog followed by mostly sunny skies. Tuesday reaches about 83 degrees. An earlier Hoodline forecast calls for cooling to arrive Wednesday and continue through Thursday.
Wednesday and Thursday are expected to bring a more robust marine layer and cooler conditions across San Jose.
