San Jose is starting Wednesday clear and cool, with temperatures around 55 degrees early in the morning and calm winds. Sunshine will quickly take over, sending afternoon temperatures toward 87 degrees with no rain in the forecast.
The warm-up will continue Thursday, when San Jose could reach 88 degrees under mostly sunny skies. Winds should remain light for much of the day, though gusts could reach 18 mph as the afternoon sea breeze strengthens.
Heat Peaks Thursday Before Friday Cooldown
According to the National Weather Service, a dry weather shift Thursday night into Friday will bring noticeably cooler conditions. Friday’s high is expected to top out near 79 degrees, a nearly 10-degree drop from Thursday, while overnight temperatures fall into the mid-50s.
The weekend will stay comfortable and dry, with sunny conditions and highs near 80 degrees Saturday. Sunday looks cooler, with a high around 76 and only a 1% chance of rain.
