Wednesday night will stay mostly dry and partly cloudy, with temperatures dipping to around 59 degrees. The forecast remains warmer and sunnier than the days ahead, according to the National Weather Service in Portland.
Temperatures Slide Before Rain Moves In
Thursday turns mostly cloudy with a high near 77, followed by a partly sunny Friday topping out around 70. Rain chances stay very low during the day Friday, but light rain becomes likely after 11 p.m., making the end of the workweek a good time to keep an umbrella nearby.
The change is more pronounced than in Tuesday’s forecast update, with Saturday now carrying a 73% chance of precipitation and a stronger possibility of thunderstorms.
Saturday Looks Wet And Unsettled
Saturday will be much cooler, with a high near 65 degrees and rain likely before 11 a.m. Showers and thunderstorms are then likely between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., followed by more rain; Saturday night could stay damp until early Sunday.
Dry Weather Returns Early Next Week
Sunday should bring partly sunny skies and a high near 69 degrees, with only a small chance of rain. Monday and Tuesday look quieter and warmer again, with mostly sunny conditions and highs near 74 degrees both days.
