Friday stays wet early, with showers likely before 2 p.m. and a much cooler high near 66. No watches or warnings are listed for Detroit, but commuters and anyone with outdoor plans should be ready for slick roads and reduced visibility during the morning rain.
Clearer, Cooler Weekend Ahead
The forecast turns more cooperative Friday night, when skies should clear and temperatures fall to around 47. Saturday looks sunny with a high near 64, followed by a mostly sunny Sunday near 67.
That sharper shift from a warm, humid Thursday to a cool and dry weekend is a substantive change from Hoodline's earlier Detroit forecast, which had described a shorter-lived midweek shower chance. Monday brings more sunshine but a cooler high near 59, with another chilly low around 40 Monday night.
