High Tides Bring Bayshore Flooding Risk
The National Weather Service forecasts minor coastal flooding. High tide at the San Francisco gauge is expected around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, 2:10 p.m. Wednesday and 2:58 p.m. Thursday, with possible flooding in lots, parks, coastal trails and isolated roads.
People heading to the waterfront should allow extra travel time and avoid driving around barricades or through water of unknown depth.
Warm Weather Sticks Around
Wednesday should look much like Tuesday, with sunshine and a high near 77 degrees. Thursday may begin with patchy fog before turning mostly sunny and reaching about 75 degrees, followed by mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid-to-upper 70s from Friday through Monday.
Overnight temperatures will generally stay in the upper 50s, rising toward 60 degrees by the weekend. Inland parts of the Bay Area are expected to run warmer, while higher terrain could see breezier and drier conditions through Wednesday.
