The charges are based on surveillance footage recorded at Holloway’s girlfriend’s Sunrise home on Sept. 2 and Sept. 3, Local 10 reported. Investigators alleged the videos showed Holloway kicking one of the French bulldogs and directing a hose at it. Police also said the dog appeared to try to get away and yelp. The girlfriend told investigators her dogs were named Zeus and Coco and believed Coco was shown in the footage, according to the station.
Police responded to the 11600 block of Northwest 37th Place after receiving a report of animal abuse, Local 10 reported. The station said Holloway regularly visited the home to help care for the children and dogs. The available account does not report the animal’s medical condition or recovery.
