A two-car collision in the 800 block of Circuit Street in Hanover on Monday sent three people to a hospital. The crash happened in the front yard of a home along the residential stretch, according to authorities.
The Hanover Fire Department said the crash occurred on September 14, 2026, according to a post from the Hanover MA Fire Department. Three people were transported to the hospital, according to WHDH, which reported the crash occurred on Circuit Street in Hanover, Massachusetts. The station, operated by Sunbeam Television, has not yet detailed the cause of the crash or the extent of the victims' injuries.
The crash involved multiple patients, and the fire department's post described the response while crews handled the scene.
A Road With a History of Trouble
Monday's crash is not the first serious incident along this stretch of Hanover. In July 2023, a 22-year-old driver was arrested and charged with OUI, operating to endanger, and marked lanes violations after crashing a Chevrolet Camaro through the side of a home in the 400 block of Circuit Street, according to CBS News. No one inside that home was hurt in the 2023 crash.
Circuit Street has also drawn police attention for speeding. In August, Hanover officers conducting targeted traffic enforcement on the road spotted a speeding pickup truck, which triggered a multi-town pursuit into Rockland that ended with a driver's arrest on drug trafficking charges, per the Newport Dispatch. That pursuit reportedly began after officers observed the truck turning at high speed onto Summer Street.
Hanover emergency responders have also been called to other crashes.
Why Circuit Street Sees So Many Crashes
Circuit Street has been the site of multiple reported crashes and other traffic incidents.
The article does not establish the details of Hanover's speed-limit policy or funding for safety upgrades at the nearby junction connecting Hanover Street, Circuit Street, and Pleasant Street.
It remains unclear what caused Monday's crash or how serious the injuries to the three hospitalized victims are, as officials have not yet released that information. Hoodline previously covered a rollover crash into a house along Hanover Street in Manchester, New Hampshire, and there was a fatal Brockton pedestrian crash earlier this year.
