A shooting at an Antioch apartment complex on Hickory Hollow Terrace left a victim injured Wednesday, as investigators continue searching for a suspect described only as wearing black and white clothing.

Police are investigating the shooting at the apartment complex on Hickory Hollow Terrace, where a victim was injured.

It is not yet known whether the victim was shot inside an apartment or in a common outdoor area of the complex, nor has a motive been disclosed. Vanderbilt University Medical Center operates Middle Tennessee's only American College of Surgeons-verified adult Level I Trauma Center, according to the Oak Street Real Estate Group.

A Nearby June Incident

Hickory Hollow Terrace is no stranger to gun violence. In November 2025, Metro Nashville Police arrested three suspects — including two teenage brothers and a 19-year-old woman — in connection with a fatal shooting at the Willow Pointe Apartments tied to a reported drug transaction that killed 21-year-old Marek Winters, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.

In June, an attempted robbery in the parking lot of the Ford Ice Center on nearby Hickory Hollow Parkway spiraled into gunfire that struck both the ice rink and the adjacent Nashville Fire Department headquarters, leading to aggravated robbery charges against two men, as Hoodline reported at the time.

Potential Charges and How to Help

No suspect has been named or charged in Wednesday's shooting as of this report.
