Downtown St. Louis is gearing up for a Halloween night built around costumes, music and cash prizes, as Ballpark Village hosts its Freakshow Halloween Party with $10,000 up for grabs through a costume contest. The bash lands on Saturday night, October 31, giving revelers one more big reason to dress up before the weekend ends.
According to KSDK, the event will feature $10,000 in cash and prizes as part of its costume contest. The party is presented by 105.7 The Point and hosted by The Rizzuto Show, according to Ballpark Village, which describes the costume-contest prizing simply as “$10,000 in costume contest prizing!”
The event's own promotional materials offer slightly different pictures of how many venues are included. Ballpark Village's event page advertises “access to 5x themed parties in one spot,” while a separate page on the same site lists access to FanDuel Sports Network Live!, PBR St. Louis, Shark Bar, Cardinals Nation, The Clydesdale and AVA — six named venues. Either way, the night is billed as five horror story-themed parties in one, complete with all-inclusive beverage packages and a stacked DJ lineup, per the station's event listing at 1057thepoint.com.
VIP Perks and a Midnight After-Party
VIP admission comes with an all-inclusive drink package running from 9 p.m. to midnight, plus access to the costume contest, per the same Ballpark Village listing. For those who want the night to keep going, the Luke Alexander Freakshow Halloween After Party at AVA kicks off at midnight, though tickets to that event are sold separately from the main party.
Shoppers looking to save a few bucks can use the code RIZZUTO for $5 off all tickets through Friday, October 30, the radio station's event page notes. Tickets for the Freakshow party were originally set to go on sale to the public back on July 31 at 10 a.m. Central time, according to Ballpark Village's own event page.
A Familiar Formula for Ballpark Village
This isn't the venue's first swing at a blowout Halloween bash. Back in 2022, Ballpark Village hosted its CarnEvil Halloween Party, also presented by 105.7 The Point and hosted by The Rizzuto Show, which Fox 2 Now described as one of the biggest Halloween parties in St. Louis. That event drew hundreds of costumed revelers, with a select few competing in a costume contest offering more than $10,000 in prizes, and featured live entertainment from The Retronerds and a set from DJ Tinkerbelle.
Other Ways to Celebrate Around St. Louis
For those who'd rather skip the ticketed scene, the Central West End is throwing its own Halloween bash on the same night. Saucemagazine.com reports the free street party kicks off at 10 p.m. on October 31, with an adult costume contest offering cash prizes at 8 p.m. — though the publication's listing also describes the overall bash as running from 11 a.m. to midnight, a detail that doesn't perfectly square with the later start time mentioned elsewhere in its own coverage.
Families with younger trick-or-treaters have other options this month, too. Boo at the Zoo runs on select nights from October 9 through October 30, from 5 to 8:30 p.m., with general admission priced at $16, according to the same Sauce Magazine roundup. Meanwhile, City Museum's Halloween programming continues through November 1, including an adults-only costume ball alongside its usual mix of oddities and curiosities spread across every floor.
