A 5,893-square-foot triplex penthouse at Casa Bella Residences was contracted for $12.6 million, or $2,138 per square foot. Cain International characterized the price per square foot as a neighborhood record for a condominium sale. The 56-story development at 1400 Biscayne Boulevard has 319 residences.
Sales and construction milestones
When Related Group and Alta Developers closed on $240 million in financing from Cain International in November 2023, Cain reported that more than 80% of the residences were under contract. The project broke ground that month. A foundation pour took place in May 2024, according to Coastal Construction. At a topping-off ceremony on July 9, 2025, more than 90% of the homes were under contract, and completion was projected for summer 2026, according to profilemiamire.com.
The building’s design team includes Arquitectonica for architecture and Piero Lissoni of Lissoni New York for interiors. Florida YIMBY reports that Casa Bella is B&B Italia’s first residential development. The outlet also reports that homes have two private elevators and a vestibule with biometric entry, and that shared areas include B&B Italia furnishings, Italkraft cabinetry, and Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances.
Residence collections and shared spaces
Florida YIMBY reports that the Cielo Collection consists of 16 residences on floors 48 through 51. The Penthouse Collection has 10 homes arranged across seven floor plans, with 12-foot ceilings. Its reported features include imported Italian finishes and kitchens and closets made by B&B Italia’s in-house team. Two corner penthouses have rooftop terraces with spa pools and kitchens that extend to outdoor use.
The project’s amenities span two floors. Florida YIMBY lists a wine vault and tasting lounge, a private theater, co-working areas, a game room, and a children’s playroom, as well as a wellness center with a bay-facing fitness hall, yoga studios, a spa, and a beauty salon.
Outdoor facilities include an 80-foot lap pool, cabanas, shaded seating, a poolside bar, and a Mediterranean café. Landscape architect Enzo Enea designed the gardens, according to Cain International. Florida YIMBY also reports a yoga lawn, pickleball court, private dining and grilling areas, and a 56th-floor terrace with a second pool, rooftop lounge, and observatory.
