Cincinnati Police Department's District One is asking the public to help identify suspects in a credit-card case. Detectives are seeking information about the case.
According to a Cincinnati Police Department
post from the department's @CincyPD account asks anyone with information about the suspects to come forward. The post names Det. Bell as the investigator handling the case.
The investigation is described as a credit-card theft and misuse case.
How to Reach Investigators
Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact police.
This is not the only credit card case Cincinnati investigators have worked. Separate reporting from Local 12 describes a different investigation in which police are looking for three people suspected of using a credit card allegedly stolen from a car on Auburn Avenue on December 18. In that case, the station reports the stolen card was used to buy gift cards at the Kroger on West Corry Avenue, and anyone with information was asked to contact Crime Stoppers or Officer Hert, with the possibility of a cash reward for useful tips. The Local 12 case involves a December 18 incident, while District One is investigating an October 10 incident.
A Separate Credit Card Case
Hoodline previously reported on a similar case from January 2025, in which an unknown suspect used a lost credit card to buy Visa gift cards at 1 West Corry Street, with police asking the public to contact Detective Wolf; the precise amount taken in that case was never disclosed.
The suspects' identities remain unknown. Detectives are asking the public to help identify them, and anyone with information is urged to contact police.
