The Del City incident comes about two months after a more serious school bus crash west of the Oklahoma City metro. On Aug. 24, a bus carrying Mustang High School students from the Canadian Valley Technology Center collided with a car around 3:30 p.m. near Northwest 10th Street and Frisco Road, according to oklahoman.com. Four people were taken to area hospitals in that crash, including the other driver, who was treated at the scene and flown by medical helicopter in critical condition, the outlet reported. Three high school students from the bus were also taken to hospitals for evaluation, though Mustang Public Schools said there were no reports of life-threatening injuries among its students, and the crash remained under investigation by the Oklahoma City Fire Department.
