Donny Osmond is capping off his 2027 national tour in Salt Lake City. The Crazy Horses Summer Tour will wrap up with two performances at Eccles Theater on Aug. 13 and 14, 2027, giving the Ogden native a Utah finale after a summer crisscrossing the country.
According to saltlakecountyarts.org, tickets for the Eccles Theater shows go on sale Oct. 30, 2026, at 10 a.m., and ArtTix is billed as the only official ticket source for those performances. The tour itself begins June 10, 2027, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and runs through the Salt Lake City finale in mid-August, as reported by KSL.
Fans eager to lock in seats have a few windows to work with before the general sale opens. Donny app users' presale access begins at 1 p.m. local time on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. An artist presale follows that day, per the same eastidahonews.com report. General sale tickets then open Friday, Oct. 30, at 10 a.m.
Idaho Gets a Pair of Stops Too
Utah isn't the only stop on the route for Western fans. The tour includes back-to-back Idaho dates, with a performance at Boise's Morrison Center for the Performing Arts on June 28, 2027, followed by a show at Mountain America Center in Idaho Falls the next night, according to eastidahonews.com.
The outlet also notes that Osmond's latest release, “Start Again,” marks a milestone 65th album for the performer. That's on top of a career that has already produced more than 100 million albums sold and 33 gold records over six decades, per saltlakecountyarts.org.
A Provo Canyon Venue Still Waiting on Approval
Osmond has also thrown his support behind a separate project closer to home: a proposed music amphitheater in Provo Canyon championed by his nephew, according to KSL. But that venue remains far from a done deal. The Provo Planning Commission denied concept-plan approval and zoning amendments for the project, the station notes, and the proposal still faces what KSL described as many legal approvals before it could move forward.
The proposed venue's size has also been reported inconsistently. KSL cited planning applications listing a maximum of 25,000 seats, while kpcw.org described it as a 20,000-seat amphitheater with an adjoining hotel, restaurant and retail space on 100 acres.
A Family Tradition of Big Utah Shows
The Osmond family's connection to large-scale Utah productions goes back decades. The family started the Stadium of Fire concert and fireworks show, which still takes place each year on July 4 at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo, according to KSL's reporting. For now, the confirmed 2027 Utah dates are the two Eccles Theater shows, with the Ogden-born entertainer set to close out his summer run in Salt Lake City.
