A Georgia-born smoothie chain is putting down roots in Douglasville, with BLENDED Smoothie & Juice Bar set to open its third store overall and second franchise location this Saturday at 3538 Highway 92, Suite B. The grand opening runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on October 31, bringing free samples, a DJ, giveaways and family-friendly activities to the Douglas County storefront.

According to Fast Casual, the Douglasville location will be owned and operated by Katrina Bryant and Arman Bryant. Katrina Bryant brings a different kind of resume to the smoothie business: per a release distributed by PR Newswire, she has worked as a registered nurse for more than 20 years and earned a Master of Science in Nursing in 2023.

Ahead of the public opening, the store will get an official send-off from local business leaders. The release notes that an official ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Douglas County Chamber of Commerce is planned for October 28, two days before doors open to customers.

Free Smoothies and a Growing Georgia Footprint

Customers hoping for a deal don't have to wait for the big day. Anyone who registers in advance on BLENDED's website will receive a free small smoothie with any purchase during opening week, the same release states.

The Douglasville shop marks the latest step in a slow-build expansion for a brand that started small. BLENDED was founded in Hiram, Georgia, in 2018 by Jamie Bowman, and the company didn't franchise its first outside location until 2025, when it opened in Marietta. That Marietta store, at 3625 Dallas Highway, Suite 680, is led by owners Frank Green and Tyrena Burroughs, according to a company post on the BLENDED website.

What's On the Menu

For newcomers wondering what they'll actually be sipping on, the chain's own site describes its focus as creating nutrient-rich smoothies, juices, protein shakes, smoothie bowls and health blends. That lineup has stayed consistent across BLENDED's original Hiram shop and its Marietta franchise, and it's expected to carry over to the Douglasville menu as well.

Douglasville's addition comes amid a broader appetite for smoothie and juice concepts opening across metro Atlanta; a Beyond Juicery + Eatery location in Brookhaven drew its own grand-opening buzz with giveaways earlier this year, according to What Now Atlanta. For BLENDED, though, the Douglasville launch represents a more personal milestone than a regional trend — turning a Hiram-born idea from 2018 into its third storefront in under a decade.
