En Vogue is bringing its catalog of early-90s R&B hits to the Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort on March 13, 2027, with the show kicking off at 8 p.m. General tickets go on sale this Friday, October 16, at 10 a.m., with prices starting at $75 before fees, while presale tickets will be available all week ahead of the public on-sale.
FOX5 Las Vegas reported the booking, noting Cindy Herron, Terry Ellis and Maxine Jones as original members; BlackPast identifies Dawn Robinson as another member of En Vogue's original four-person lineup. En Vogue, however, has toured for years as a trio featuring founding members Terry Ellis and Cindy Herron alongside Rhona Bennett, who joined the group in 2003, according to Grammy.com.
From Oakland Auditions to Platinum Albums
Long before Las Vegas marquees, En Vogue started as an audition project. The group was formed in Oakland in 1989 by R&B producers Denzil Foster and Thomas McElroy, who initially called the act 4-U before settling on the En Vogue name, per BlackPast.org. Their 1990 debut, Born to Sing, went platinum with the breakthrough single Hold On climbing to No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The group's commercial peak came two years later. Their 1992 sophomore album, Funky Divas, went triple-platinum and sold 3.5 million copies in the U.S., spawning Top 10 hits including My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It) and Free Your Mind. The group also teamed with Salt-N-Pepa in 1993 for Whatta Man, which reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal at the 1995 ceremony, according to Grammy.com.
A Chart Legacy Behind the Ticket Price
FOX5 Las Vegas describes En Vogue as one of Billboard's top 10 most successful girl groups of all time, with more than 20 million records sold worldwide. That ranking has statistical backing: the group scored six No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart during the 1990s, more than any female vocal group except The Supremes, per the group's Wikipedia page. Despite that chart dominance, En Vogue has picked up seven Grammy nominations across its career — including nods for Hold On, Free Your Mind and Don't Let Go (Love) — without ever winning the award, according to Grammy.com.
The group has stayed active well beyond its 90s heyday, with recent appearances at the 2025 NBA All-Star Game and the Glastonbury Festival, per FOX5 Las Vegas. Hoodline has also tracked En Vogue's busy 2026 touring schedule alongside TLC and Salt-N-Pepa, including a Concord Pavilion date that linked the trio's Oakland roots, a Woodlands show earlier this month, and a September 5, 2026, date at the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand.
Pearl Theater Leans Into R&B Nostalgia
The Pearl Concert Theater seats between 2,263 and 2,500 guests depending on stage configuration, with no seat located more than 150 feet from the stage, according to Hoodline's prior coverage of the venue. That intimacy has made it a draw for classic R&B bookings, including a February 27, 2027 performance from seven-time Grammy nominee Joe, as Hoodline previously reported.
Palms Casino Resort, where the Pearl is located, has its own distinctive backstory. The property was purchased for $650 million in 2021 by the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians and reopened in April 2022, making it the first Las Vegas casino resort fully owned and operated by a Native American tribe, according to Los Angeles Magazine. The resort had sat closed for two years following pandemic shutdowns before its tribal-owned relaunch.
