A new facial bar has landed on Los Gatos's Main Street, and it's already drawing a crowd before its doors fully opened. Face Foundrié says it opened its first South Bay Area location at 28 E. Main Street this week, bringing a 2,000-square-foot space with 11 treatment beds tucked into semi-private rooms to Los Gatos.

According to a company release from prnewswire.com, the Los Gatos shop opened October 26. That date conflicts with reporting from The Business Journals, which lists November 6 as the location's date. Either way, the shop is offering facials, lashes, brows and skincare services, with franchise owner Nandini Shah quoted in the release as the local operator behind the build-out.

Shah's investment is already getting a nod from local business boosters. Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce CEO Jennifer Lin said in the release that “Nandini's investment in our town represents exactly the kind of small business growth we love to see.” The chamber's enthusiasm tracks with the numbers coming out of pre-launch bookings: per the same account from The Business Journals, the location had sold more than 350 memberships and booked more than 300 appointments ahead of opening.

What Clients Can Book Right Now

Face Foundrié's Los Gatos page lists signature 40-minute focused facials, and the site notes that pre-booking is open now, with a promo code offering 25% off a first visit. The same page warns that the founding membership offer closes on opening day, after which standard pricing takes over — so early sign-ups got in under a different price structure than future clients will see.

A grand-opening celebration is set for Saturday, November 7, at 11 a.m., according to the prnewswire.com release. That timeline mirrors how Face Foundrié has rolled out other recent locations; its La Jolla shop, run locally by Monika Garratt, held its own grand-opening party from noon to 2 p.m. on a Saturday in May, as reported by The San Diego Union-Tribune. That San Diego location offers facial, lash, brow and skin services including chemical peels, LED light therapy and waxing — a similar menu to what's now available in Los Gatos.

Part Of A Bigger Bay Area Push

Los Gatos is just the latest stop in a rapid build-out across Northern California. Face Foundrié opened its 50th store in San Francisco's Marina District in late 2024, according to the San Francisco Business Times, and the outlet reports the chain is now approaching 100 stores while targeting the Peninsula, South Bay and East Bay for future sites. A separate interview with founder Michele Henry, published by Bizwomen, put the company's footprint at 70 stores with more than 100 additional locations in development.

Trade publication franchising.com reported that Face Foundrié had 82 stores open across 24 states as of August.

That momentum traces back to the brand's earliest days. Henry told Bizwomen that the first Face Foundrié location was fully booked within weeks of opening, and the company had secured a second location within 90 days. Los Gatos's pre-opening numbers point to strong local demand.
