Police closed Ford Parkway and Cleveland Avenue South in St. Paul’s Highland Park neighborhood after a fatal crash Thursday morning, according to Bring Me The News. The outlet reported that emergency services responded and police asked the public to stay away from the intersection during the investigation.
Police had not said how many vehicles were involved or how many people were killed or injured. Bring Me The News reported that police expected to provide more information later Thursday.
The earlier reports cited here describe the same 2021 collision, not separate fatal crashes. CBS News Minnesota and the Star Tribune reported that a vehicle and a motorcycle collided at Ford Parkway and Cleveland Avenue around 11 a.m. on a Wednesday morning. The motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, died at the scene. The Star Tribune also reported that the car’s driver did not need medical attention and that police initially found no indication of impairment.
