Cincinnati is starting Monday with a little river-valley fog, but the gray opening act should fade before 9 a.m. After that, mostly sunny skies and light winds will push temperatures to about 75 degrees, giving the city another warm afternoon that feels more like early fall’s rebellious cousin.
The National Weather Service in Wilmington expects no rain Monday, with winds staying around 2 mph from the west. Visibility could be briefly reduced in low-lying areas during the morning commute, especially near the river valley and Lunken Airport.
Warm, Dry Stretch Runs Through Friday
Monday night will be partly cloudy with patchy fog developing after 4 a.m. Tuesday, followed by another mostly sunny afternoon near 75 degrees. Wednesday should reach 76, Thursday 77 and Friday 78, while overnight lows gradually rise from the upper 40s into the lower and middle 50s.
The updated outlook extends Cincinnati’s mild, dry run while adding a wetter turn beyond the workweek. That is a modest shift from Sunday’s Hoodline forecast, which focused mainly on sunshine and warmth through midweek.
Rain Finally Returns Late Weekend
Saturday should stay mostly cloudy, with only a slight chance of light rain after 2 p.m. Rain chances rise Saturday night to about 40%, and Sunday brings the best chance of wet weather, with rain likely and a high near 71.
No watches, warnings or advisories are in effect for the Cincinnati area. For now, early risers will want a little patience with the fog, while afternoon plans can take advantage of several unusually warm and dry days before the weekend turns damp.
