Jupiter HarbourFest is back at Harbourside Place on Oct. 16 and 17, and this year there's no cover charge at the gate. The free, two-day waterfront festival features two stages, 16 bands, and a lineup of food and tasting events along the Intracoastal, a notable shift from its debut just one year ago.
From Paid Debut to Free Harbourside Bash
HarbourFest launched in October 2025 as a paid-ticket event, according to The Palm Beaches. The Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce produces the 2026 festival at Harbourside Place, where general admission is free, according to JupiterBrief. The chamber, a non-profit representing more than 750 member businesses across 11 municipalities in northern Palm Beach County, produces the event as part of a broader push to drive local foot traffic and tourism during the region's autumn shoulder season.
As reported by Fox 17, this year's festival is presented by Jupiter Medical Center and hosted by the Town of Jupiter, running Friday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 10 p.m. Fox 17 reports the event will span two stages and feature 16 bands, alongside food, drinks, artisan vendors, shopping, and waterfront entertainment.
Boxelder's 30th-Anniversary Homecoming
Saturday night's headlining set belongs to Boxelder, a Jupiter-native reggae-rock group formed in 1995 that is billing its Oct. 17 performance as a 30th-anniversary hometown reunion on the same waterfront land where the band originally started, per the group's Facebook page. Fox 17's report notes Boxelder is scheduled to take the main stage at 8:30 p.m. Saturday. The band's local roots and the frontman's role in shaping Jupiter's live music scene give the set deeper resonance than a typical headline slot, according to Palm Beach Arts Paper.
Friday night brings its own star power, with Fox 17 noting that Bryant Thomas, who appeared on American Idol, takes the main stage at 8:30 p.m., while Drew Cole, known for his run on The Voice, performs on the Tiki 52 stage at 8 p.m. The rest of the bill includes the Jutt Huffman Band, Cypress Creek Band, Jay Valor, Grace Luv, the Laura Goodstone Band, the Jeffery James Band, Brett Staska & The Souvenirs, Due South Band, the RJ Preston Duo, the Heidi Merrill Duo, Cole Chase, Leo Von, and Stoney Vibez, per Fox 17's festival music schedule.
Tastings, VIP Access and Tickets Still for Sale
Not everything at HarbourFest is free. The Harbourside Place Tastings event runs Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and features signature bites and beverage samples from participating restaurants, breweries, wineries and spirit partners, with tickets priced at $50 and a celebrity choice award selected by celebrity judges alongside a people's choice award, according to Fox 17. A $100 VIP ticket includes Friday's tastings, one day of festival access, and entry to the VIP hospitality area, where guests receive complimentary beer and wine, waterfront seating, and closer views of performers.
Organizers are encouraging guests to reserve tickets in advance since some experiences have limited capacity, and festival information is available at jupiterharbourfest.org. Because nearby parking is limited, festival organizers are advising attendees to carpool or use ride-share services to reach Harbourside Place at 200 U.S. 1.
A Venue Built on Contested Ground
Harbourside Place itself carries a layered history. The 360,000-square-foot commercial complex opened along the Intracoastal Waterway in 2014 as a $144 million project featuring an outdoor amphitheater, a public marina, and the 179-room Wyndham Grand hotel, according to Harbourside Place. The 11-acre site previously housed the Burt Reynolds & Friends Museum before the land was cleared for redevelopment, the same source notes.
That same stretch of waterfront has also been the site of a long-running noise dispute.
Event organizers have also partnered with the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County to run designated recycling and sustainability programs, branded “Recycle Right,” across the festival grounds throughout the weekend. The festival adds to Jupiter's live-music offerings.
