Lowell police are asking the public for help finding a 45-year-old Quincy woman who hasn't been heard from in more than a week. Heather Kelley was last contacted on October 18, and investigators say they believe she could be somewhere in the Lowell area.
According to the Newport Dispatch, the Lowell Police Department released a description of Kelley as a white female standing 5 feet 3 inches tall, with brown hair and blue eyes. Police have not released details about where she was last seen or what she was wearing, and it remains unclear whether she has since been located.
Anyone with information about Kelley's whereabouts is urged to call Lowell police at 978-937-3200. The department has not provided additional specifics about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance beyond the last-contact date and her physical description.
A Separate Lowell Search in 2021
Kelly-Oberhauser’s search was reported in January 2021, years before Kelley’s October 2026 search. NBC Boston reported that she was last seen in the city around 10:45 p.m. on a Monday, driving a black 2016 Range Rover, according to NBC Boston.
That outlet reported that a Range Rover was pulled from the Merrimack River near Regatta Field on a recent Friday, and authorities confirmed the vehicle belonged to Kelly-Oberhauser. She is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall and about 125 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes — a different description from Kelley's. Police told the station that efforts to find Kelly-Oberhauser were continuing.
The two cases are separate investigations involving different women, reported nearly six years apart: Kelly-Oberhauser’s in January 2021 and Kelley’s in October 2026.
