Marc Anthony is bringing his name to Miami real estate with a twist: a private speakeasy reserved for people who own or live in the building. The Grammy winner is curating Marc's, a members-only lounge planned for the top-floor amenity level of HQ Residences Miami, a 35-story, 229-unit condominium tower rising in Edgewater.
According to Haute Living, the tower is planned for 422 NE 29th Street and is designed by Arquitectonica, with residences reserved for the people who actually buy in. Per HQ Residences Miami's own press materials, pricing starts at $850,000, and the building is expected to open in 2028. Elsewhere, pricing has been reported a bit differently: the real estate site WireMiami lists one-bedrooms starting from $859,000 and two-bedrooms from $1.5 million, a discrepancy the available records do not resolve.
Inside the Members-Only Lounge
Marc's is described as a private speakeasy curated by Marc Anthony, built around wood paneling, coffered ceilings and amber lighting, the same Haute Living report notes. Marble cocktail tables and low-slung seating fill the room, with an illuminated bar and walls lined with records and speakers setting the tone. Programming is expected to center on Latin music, late-night jazz and intimate live performances, and per the same account, Marc Anthony may make occasional appearances there himself.
Separately, profilemiamire.com describes the same lounge as offering skyline views, vinyl collections and intimate performances for residents. The venture marks Anthony's first residential project, with the singer serving as a partner in HQ Hotels & Residences by sbe alongside Sam Nazarian, according to Haute Living.
Who's Building It
HQ Residences Miami is being developed by Black Salmon, The Boschetti Group and Constellation Group, according to the project's own press materials. The condominium will offer one- to three-bedroom layouts ranging from 721 to 2,074 square feet, plus eight penthouses, and the developers describe it as the first residential tower under the HQ brand. The amenities span roughly 15,756 square feet across two floors, according to Modern Luxury, which also lists the building's address as 430 NE 29th Street — a detail that conflicts with the 422 NE 29th Street address cited elsewhere.
Those top two floors are packed with extras beyond the speakeasy, per Haute Living: a podcast studio, a chef's kitchen, Toma Gourmet from Sofía Vergara and Manolo, and the Miami debut of Jack's NYC Coffee. There's also an HQ Social Club membership that provides access to curated events and VIP experiences across the city, according to the same report, echoing language from profilemiamire.com describing the club as connecting residents to curated experiences and VIP hospitality offerings across Miami and beyond.
A Wellness Floor Built With The Well's Co-Founder
Rounding out the amenity package is a wellness floor designed with The Well co-founder Kane Sarhan, Haute Living reports. It includes contrast-therapy circuits, a hammam, sauna, steam room, plunge pools and an open-air training terrace. Profilemiamire.com describes a similar lineup, from yoga and open-air training terraces to contrast-therapy circuits with hammam, sauna, steam, plunge pools and bath-house treatments.
Model Nadia Ferreira, who is Marc Anthony's wife, has been named an HQ Residences ambassador, per Haute Living. The project lands amid a broader wave of branded luxury towers in South Florida, where developers are increasingly pairing residential sales with hospitality names, private clubs and culinary partnerships — a trend MILLION has tied to chef-driven amenities reshaping preconstruction condos across the region. Marc's is reserved for people who own or live in the building.
