Mariah Carey's Holiday Bar is setting up shop in Boston's Seaport this November, bringing festive cocktails, wall-to-wall sparkle, and the singer's own Black Irish Cream Liqueur to Tuscan Kitchen Seaport starting November 19. The pop-up marks the third year of Carey's touring holiday bar concept, and this time it's doubling its footprint to eight cities while making its first jump overseas.
A Bigger, Glitzier Holiday Takeover
As first reported by Boston.com, the Boston stop is one of seven U.S. locations this season, joining Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, and San Diego, alongside the brand's first international venue. Carey, long dubbed the Queen of Christmas for her 1994 anthem “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” said the holidays are her favorite time of year and that she loves sharing their magic with fans, according to the same report. She added that this year's bars will be “more fabulous” and reach more cities than ever, promising festive cocktails, wall-to-wall sparkle, and surprises.
That international debut lands at The O2 in London on November 19, the same day as the Boston opening. Attitude Magazine describes interactive photo opportunities, festive merchandise, and themed installations; weekend brunches are also planned. The simultaneous London and Boston launches underscore just how far the bar concept has traveled since its first run.
Inside the Seaport Pop-Up
Tuscan Kitchen Seaport, the Boston host site at 64 Seaport Boulevard, is a 14,000-square-foot, multi-level Italian dining venue with capacity for up to 500 guests, per Prellwitz Chilinski Associates. The Boston.com report describes festive decor, photo moments, and cocktails featuring Carey's Black Irish Cream Liqueur, though menus vary by city.

The Business Behind the Bar
Andy Lederman, founder and CEO of events promoter Bucket Listers, said the Holiday Bar has become a beloved holiday tradition, and that this year's experience is going international, doubling its cities, and introducing new guest experiences. He added that the expansion will bring more of Carey's signature glamour and holiday magic to guests.
The promoter already has a presence in the same Boston neighborhood this fall: Bucket Listers hosted the Cityside Pumpkin Patch pop-up at Island Creek Raw Bar from October 6 through November 1, making the Seaport something of a seasonal pop-up hub this year.
The Liqueur and the Legal Fight Behind It
Carey launched her Black Irish Cream Liqueur line in August 2021 after two years of product development, naming the brand in tribute to her Black and Irish lineage, according to Forbes.
Carey's “All I Want for Christmas Is You” is a long-charting hit. Carey also releases an annual viral video announcing the start of the holiday season, a ritual that has become part of her seasonal brand as much as the song itself.
Holiday Bars Beyond the Stage
The Holiday Bar pop-ups offer a cocktail-and-photo-op experience beyond Carey's live performances.
Boston.com's coverage of the announcement was written by travel writer Kristi Palma, who covers airlines, hotels, and activities across Boston and New England and authors the weekly Scenic Six travel newsletter for the outlet. For now, Boston fans eager for a taste of Carey's holiday glamour can mark November 19 on the calendar and watch for ticket waitlist details on the Tuscan Kitchen Seaport stop.
