Part of a Recurring Pattern in South Cobb
This is not the first apartment complex shooting the Major Crimes Unit has investigated in the Marietta area this year. A June 30, 2026, shooting at the Stratford Ridge complex on Delk Road left a man shot in his vehicle, as Hoodline previously reported.
The incident also fits into broader countywide crime figures. Georgia Bureau of Investigation statistics show Cobb County recorded nearly 16,000 total crimes in 2024, placing it third in overall crime volume among Georgia counties behind Fulton and DeKalb, according to John Foy & Associates.
Anyone with information on the Osborne Hills shooting can contact police at 770-499-3945. As of now, the identity of the shooter, the circumstances that led to the gunfire, and the victim's condition after surgery all remain unknown.
