Miami is starting Tuesday with mostly clear skies, temperatures around 79°F, and a welcome break from the thickest humidity. The sunshine will stick around through the afternoon, with a high near 87 and northeast winds gusting up to 18 mph.
A Sunny, Breezy Tuesday
Rain chances remain below 10% today, making Tuesday the easiest day this week for outdoor plans. The National Weather Service Miami says drier air will keep apparent temperatures closer to the low and mid-90s, rather than the upper 90s and low 100s seen recently.
Tuesday night will stay mostly clear, with a low near 79 and northeast winds continuing at 10 to 15 mph. No watches, warnings, or advisories are posted for Miami-Dade County.
Rain Returns Midweek
Wednesday begins sunny before a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms develops after 2 p.m. Thursday and Friday will be warmer, with highs near 88 and a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms each day.
Winds will gradually turn more easterly later in the week, bringing moisture back into South Florida. That means higher humidity and a greater chance of quick downpours, including some overnight or morning activity near the coast.
Weekend Forecast Turns Wetter And Windier
The forecast takes a sharper turn Saturday, when the chance of showers and thunderstorms rises to 80%. Sunday currently looks like the wettest and windiest day, with a 90% rain chance, a high near 84, and east winds between 18 and 25 mph.
The exact placement of a weather boundary over Florida could still shift the timing and intensity of the weekend rain. For now, boaters, beachgoers, and anyone with outdoor plans should expect rougher conditions and keep an eye on updated forecasts as the weekend approaches.
