A motorcyclist was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a collision near Chambers Road and Scottsdale in North St. Louis County at about 7:10 p.m. Thursday, according to a KMOV report also carried by First Alert 4.
Police said the collision involved a car and a motorcycle. A second driver stopped afterward; police said her vehicle was left in drive and rolled over the injured motorcyclist.
The report says the driver involved in the collision remained at the scene. The second driver left, but officers stopped her a short time later.
Motorcycle fatalities in Missouri
According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, Missouri recorded 131 motorcycle fatalities in 2025. That figure provides context on fatal crashes, but does not show how common serious nonfatal injuries are or how those patterns have changed in recent years.
