The Palm Tree Music Festival is coming back to downtown West Palm Beach bigger than ever, expanding to a two-day event on February 6 and 7, 2027, with headliners The Chainsmokers, Zedd, FISHER, and Gryffin topping the bill. The waterfront party will once again set up at Centennial Square at the foot of Clematis Street, the same stretch of downtown that hosted the festival's debut.
That first edition, held on February 14, 2026, was a runaway success by any measure. According to WPEC, the single-day event drew 11,000 attendees and sold out more than two months in advance, leaving a waitlist of over 8,000 people shut out of tickets, as reported by Haute Living. It stands as the largest single gathering in the history of Palm Tree Crew, the event company behind the festival, per that same outlet's reporting.
Beyond the four headline names, the expanded 2027 lineup leans heavily into house and electronic dance music. Haute Living says more artists are still to be announced. The second day follows strong demand for the event.
Who Actually Shows Up to This Thing
The 2026 debut wasn't just a local block party. Clematis Street reported that 85 percent of ticket holders traveled from outside the local area. That kind of visitor pull is exactly why expanding the event from a single-day sellout to two full days reads as a bet on continued regional tourism demand rather than just a bigger party for locals.
A Multi-Year Bet on Downtown Flagler Drive
The festival isn't a one-off booking. The West Palm Beach event is locked in through 2029 under a four-year partnership between Palm Tree Crew, real estate firm Related Ross, and the City of West Palm Beach, according to Clematis Street. Related Ross has poured significant investment into redeveloping downtown West Palm Beach, and the festival slots neatly into that broader push.
The festival adds another live entertainment event to the downtown waterfront. The multi-year contract keeps the event there for years ahead.
Palm Tree Crew's Growth Beyond Music
Palm Tree Crew itself has a story that extends well past music festivals. The company was co-founded by Kygo and Myles Shear, according to World Red Eye. What started as tropical house music has since grown into festivals and hospitality.
Palm Tree Crew has also expanded into hospitality clubs in Miami.
