Phoenix police are asking the public to help locate a juvenile, according to a department post.
The Phoenix Police missing-juvenile notice concerns a missing juvenile.
The notice requests assistance in locating a juvenile.
How AMBER Alerts Differ
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, AMBER Alerts are intended for child-abduction cases and are issued only when specific criteria are met, including conditions related to danger and whether available information could help locate the child or suspect.
Police direct people with information to call rather than contact the department through social media. The post states: “Social media comments and direct messages are not a valid way to report information to police.”
How To Report Information
Anyone with information about the juvenile’s whereabouts is asked to call the Phoenix Police Department at 602-262-6151.
